Meet the Founders

About Stephen

Stephen cut his teeth in the fence installation business when his brothers put him in charge of their company when he was only 18 years old. Since then, he's started several companies. Stephen lives in North Carolina with his wife and 3 daughters. On certain days you can find him at the dune buggy track going a little crazy, but mostly he enjoys reading and traveling.

About Denise

Denise started at Vita -one of the early NexGen companies- when she was 22 years old. This is where she fell in love with small business and all the challenges that come with it. Once upon a time she backpacked around the world and climbed Mt Kilimanjaro. Now she’s content living in North Carolina with her husband and two young boys who keep life interesting in a very different way.

Here is a timeline of our story

2009

• Denise and Stephen move to Charlotte North Carolina to start WamBam Fence.

2016

• The brand Zippity Outdoor Products is introduced to the market.

---

2019

• WamBam Fence debuts on Inc 5000’s list of “Fastest Growing Companies”.
• Stephen leaves the day-to-day operations of the business to pursue other opportunities.

2020

• WamBam Fence takes on a new name called Nych Brands. WamBam Fence will remain a brand under the Nych umbrella.
• Nych Brands starts operations at a second location in Sarnia, Ontario, Canada.

2021

• The brand Enclo Screens is introduced to the market
